We truly are a one-of-a-kind venue nestled in the hills of Carroll County, Maryland offering stunning sunset views for any event. Keeping with the historic nature of the homestead and barn originally built in 1752, The Hummingbird Chateau centerpieces an eclectic mix of old and new. Hi there! We are the Housleys and we own and operate The Hummingbird Chateau which was originally built in 1752. We believe in creating memorable events that are as unique as you and as worry-free as possible. When you book with us you are supporting a small business and directly working with us, the owners, to create a seamless event truly personalized for you. We would love to welcome you to the Hummingbird family and share in your special event.

14 hours of access to our property from 9:00am-11:00pm.
One hour for Bridal Party Rehearsal on Thursday
Access to the Bridal Suite and Granary for bridal party preparations, starting as early as 9:00am, including bar area and entertainment area.
