There’s a reason so many of our couples fall in love with the outdoor wedding venue in Maryland. Adam and Sydney chose a beautiful woodsy spot for their ceremony and kept the rest of their details simple and natural with lots of neutrals, soft greens, and white florals. Everything felt like it belonged together without feeling overly styled or formal. And with this much greenery surrounding you, you really don’t have to do too much!

Adam and Sydney said “I do” surrounded by trees with a simple wooden arbor framing the ceremony space. We added white and blush florals with plenty of greenery to the arbor, which gave them a little extra color while still letting the setting do most of the work.
Their neutral and green color palette was such a good choice for this part of the property, too. The bridesmaids wore soft green dresses, the guys wore light neutral suits, and the bouquets brought everything together with white flowers and eucalyptus. It was rustic, outdoorsy, and still felt really pretty and put together.

We also got to create the florals for Adam and Sydney’s wedding! We kept everything in line with the natural feel they wanted for the day, from Sydney’s bouquet to the bridesmaid bouquets and the flowers on their ceremony arbor. Lots of white, greenery, and just a touch of blush worked perfectly with their colors.
Being able to create florals for our couples is always fun because we already know the property and the spaces they’ll be using throughout the day. We can think about how everything will look together rather than treating the flowers as something completely separate from the venue.

One thing we love about our outdoor wedding venue in Maryland is that couples aren’t limited to one ceremony setup. There are multiple ceremony options around the property, and they each have a completely different feel. Adam and Sydney went with this woodsy setting surrounded by trees, but having options means you can choose the spot that makes the most sense for the wedding you’re planning.
It also means there are plenty of different areas to sneak away for photos afterward! Adam and Sydney took full advantage of the property for their portraits, from the open grassy areas to our white garden structure. We love seeing how photographers use all of the different little corners around the Chateau, and local Maryland and Pennsylvania wedding photographer Lindsey Markel captured their day beautifully.

Adam and Sydney’s wedding was such a fun summer day at the Chateau, and we loved seeing their neutral, nature-inspired plans come together.
